IMG_0047She swam with her breeder and dog family (including a papillon!) before she came to me – but she hasn’t had any interest in swimming. On the warmer winter days she would wade in with Griffin and today she finally went in!

I love when dogs enjoy swimming – it’s great exercise. I’m really lucky to have safe, fenced areas to take my dogs where they can be off leash. The young dogs get interested when they watch the others swimming and playing and if they have interest in toys they will usually just go in at some point.

IMG_0043I don’t usually let my dogs use bumpers for playing but Griffin found this one in tall grass and they were both really happy about it.  I can’t wait for our next swimming opportunity later this week!

We had a great time at the seminar last weekend and are excited about some of our upcoming plans and adventures. This week we’ll be taking Fanny and Epic back to the Chicago airport, then going to Madison WI for Blaze to be in a veterinary study, then to Minneapolis, MN for Viktor’s rehab appointment.  And back to Ohio in time for a full day of classes and events (10am to 8pm!).
