I’m not sure why we’re always so endlessly busy – I have decreased a few commitments but somehow have replaced those with even more things to do.
We finally had another trial opportunity. Tonks has only had a handful of trial days so far. There are always things to work on (jumping….) but I’m so happy with how many parts are going such as her focus.
She’s very different than Griffin- part of it is lack of experience and part is changes with training over time. Griffin will always take some of the responsibility and make assumptions about what’s going to happen (good and bad!) but Tonks mostly will only do exactly as she’s told. Long term – she’s going to be much easier to run but right now it’s still hard for me to switch between the two of them. All of our runs were like this – some good things and some sticky parts. The good news is there were no real surprises, we have our handful of weaknesses to work on before our next event in a few weeks.
