Puppy (Again)

On Friday I took a trip.  There were a lot of stressful parts in terms of timing, but everything worked out close to expected. This puppy is 8 weeks old and very adorable.

September – Viktor Update – 10 Months

No new update on his health. We still have about a month until our next visit. He’s still on restricted activity with swimming 5 days a week and about 15 minutes of low-activity training walks and then some almost-no-activity training. In many ways he acts like a much younger puppy. Read more…

In the last month we’ve done 6 days of agility trials and one day of rally obedience – it ended up 4 days of trialing, each in a different program, in 8 days! Most of the agility days have been good – we had one bad trial day where he Read more…

Viktor’s Puppy Challenges

When Viktor was 10 weeks old I noticed his front legs looked a little odd. His toes were rotated out and his wrists were almost touching. Our rehab vet recommended xrays and seeing an orthopedic surgeon. We had our regular vet take x-rays and then we did a consult the Read more…

Trial Updates – Agility and Rally

Two days after our first AKC obedience trial, Griffin and I were up in Minnesota and did agility. Griffin has not been to an agility trial for about 18 months – at the last event he did a total of 3 jumps all day (and a few months after that Read more…

Griffin’s First Obedience Trial

Last week we did our first obedience trial!  We entered on a Friday – which ended up working out great, more people are at work, meaning a smaller event. This trial was held with a big conformation show and at a fairgrounds (so not climate controlled) and that may have Read more…
