We had a 5 day obedience seminar with Fanny Gott.  Griffin and I had done online classes with her and it was really exciting to work face-to-face with her.  Other seminar attendees were here from all over the US and with different types of obedience goals.

It was one of my favorite seminars, I learned so many new things and many small changes that will make a big impact in my training and teaching.  Griffin did really well throughout the week and we’re very motivated to keep training.

Blaze and I went to an AKC trial today to try for this third rally novice leg. We got the first one in 2007, the second in 2008, and we haven’t tried since then!  He’s almost 12 now and has some very large benign masses that can’t easily be removed.  As they’re not very visible with his hair, we were still eligible to show.

And out of a class with about 8 dogs, we got first place!
